Algester Parkinson Lions is proud to sell Lions Christmas cakes and puddings throughout the year. Attendance at Christmas community events, together with the support of our passionate members and local businesses, enables us to provide financial support for a variety of worthwhile causes.

The Lions Club of Algester Parkinson have made a commitment to servicing the community in environmental-related projects. Our club is passionate about recycling, so we have signed up to Containers for Change to earn valuable funds and positively impact our environment.

Hunger is a problem in all of Australia. LCIF provides grants, programs, and initiatives to provide nutritious meals for Australians in need. Our hope is one day, no child will ever go hungry. On any given Day, over half a million households in Australia are Struggling to Meet their Food Needs.

The Lions Club of Algester Parkinson is proud to be a supporter of the Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP). This children’s eye screening program, the most comprehensive screening initiative in Australia, is conducted free-of-charge to any school, sporting club or community group.

As well as raising funds from selling Christmas cakes and puddings, we also hold regular Barbecues.
